Not sure if that's a reasonable number for other people but to me it would. I'd fork over 5 million credits to retrain my 14 point captain in a heartbeat. The cruiser's main battery surpassed foreign guns in maximum range and destructive. Unlike her foreign counterparts, she boasted bigger dimensions and better armor protection. A ship designed and intended to destroy light enemy cruisers and fight against heavy cruisers (Project 66). Why not add an option to pay with game credits, just like they did with the consumables? If so inclined they could make it more expensive the more points your captain has. Moskva Soviet special premium Tier X cruiser. But as it is now, it feels like there is no real alternative if you want to finally get your 5th rank skill. Sure, I understand they need to make money to cover the costs they made by creating and maintaining the game and there is nothing wrong with that. By the time he got through retraining I could have a new captain at 10 points, give or take. My highest captain is 14 points I believe, and hes staying on his current ship. or we are gonna annoy and frustrate you every time you would like to bring your current captain on to a new ship. I can imagine it puts players off when the game makers seem to say: gimme your money to skip this B.S. The amount of time or experience needed (on a stock ship no less) to get through this mandatory retraining gets abysmal past lets say 10 point captains. Not only do you trade a fully upgraded ship for a stock one, but your captain is ineffective as well during this retraining. For example, lets say you have 12 point captain on a tier 7 ship and you just got enough experience on it to unlock the tier 8 one. What annoys me is that it feels you get doubly punished with the current captain skill system.
